Today,
these men are the true and unquestioned ¨italian protagonists in the
world¨, More than one hundred years of history have retrieved this
figure of the emigrant. The success, merits and acknowledgement, the
town works, gallery construction, bank openings, construction of streets,
bridges, skyscrapers, facilities ranging from small to huge industries,
participation in movies productions, raising to high peaks in every
sector, even to politics, launching, growth and development of fashion,
industry and economy, made in Italy.
The progress created by these men has been remarkable in the states, Canada, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Venezuela, in addition to a large part of Europe everywhere, in any small or big citty of these states, the name of the Italians is engraved with honor and it will remain in the history of the centuries. Proud to belong to this group of men, to this group of honest brethren and fellow countrymen, to their sacrifices, to their intelligence and their stubbornness to affirm their identity, I felt the need, I wanted and I had to pay homage to them, I wanted to guarantee them, that Italy and the Italians have not forgotten them and therefore, as a modest act of gratitude, I offered their daughters, granddaughters or great -great - granddaughters to participate in a contest as an initiative to acknowledge the Italian roots all over the world after Miss Apulia in Switzerland and Miss Italy in Switzerland, was born MISS ITALIA NEL MONDO (Miss Italy in the World).
